The Prickle Strip Dig Stopper from Defenders is used as a deterrent against cats, dogs, rabbits, squirrels and other wildlife digging up plant beds, lawns, seedbeds, flower beds and vegetable gardens, including pots and containers. The plastic strips can be positioned just beneath the soil so they?re not unsightly and don?t hamper plant growth. The prickly points irritate the feet or paws of any creature that begins to dig or scratch on top of them. The discomfort causes them to stop before they do any damage. No harm or pain is caused to the animal, so these are a humane deterrent and a cheaper alternative to electronic repellents. The strips can easily be cut to the required size using scissors or can be hooked into additional strips to extend the protected area. Dig Stopper is weather and UV-resistant so once installed, you don?t need to worry about removing them during bad weather or winter.
